ComeOn Secures Finnish Licences Ahead of July 2027 Market Opening

European Entertainment Group confirms approvals for online casino and sports betting, ahead of Finland’s regulated market launch.

ComeOn Group has secured the Finnish gambling licences it sought, parent company European Entertainment Group said on 22 October 2026. The approvals cover online casino and sports betting services for the forthcoming regulated market.

The announcement does not mean the operator can launch immediately. Finland’s National Police Board says licences under the new framework cannot take effect before 1 July 2027, and gambling operations may begin only after a licence becomes effective.

Until the end of June 2027, Veikkaus retains the exclusive right to organise gambling in mainland Finland. The transition gives incoming operators time to prepare for the competitive regime.

EEG said further updates on its Finnish preparations would appear in its regular financial reporting.
